FOOOOD
So, a few things I've made in the past week or so from scratch:
- Southern Biscuits & Gravy
- More biscuits (striving for perfection!)
- Beef Stroganoff (Q: What do you call a cow masturbating in a field? A: Beef Stroganoff)
- Butter (half to know that I could, half to obtain pure, unadulterated buttermilk for use in...wait for it...)
- MORE BISCUITS
- Pasta (what essentially amounted to fettucini, as I have no fancy machine to make it all sexy with)
I'm not sure what's to come, but I certainly can say that I'm very content at the moment, at least with this. Since moving I had noticed a huge drop off in my desire to do any cooking whatsoever, even for sustenance, and I've managed to find that drive and excitement again. It's helping me fill that time after work but before sleep that isn't long enough to do most anything of substance. My roommate has recommended that I could use that time to look for a girlfriend. I'm glad she told me because I didn't realize that it was that easy.
Question, for anyone who happens to read this: Assuming you could be brought to care at all, what, if anything, would you say is the one indispensable kitchen object for you?

The fridge. It holds everythin.
But really? Likely a Fry pan. I pretty much sauté veggies on a regular basis, and can cook many other things in said pan. This works for me.
soooo i just recently checked this on a whim again, having given up sometime around december on it.
Let it be known that upon your return to the USA, the two of us shall together make pasta. Handcut, because fancy schmancy machines are for the week. sound good?
